Cabinet Approves Green Field Airport Development in Kota-Bundi

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved the development of a Green Field Airport at Kota-Bundi, Rajasthan, with an estimated cost of Rs.1507.00 Crore. The project includes a terminal building, runway, and other facilities to accommodate A-321 type aircraft, addressing the anticipated traffic growth in the region. The existing airport is inadequate for commercial operations due to land constraints.
