Cabinet Approves Highway Expansion in Telangana

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has sanctioned a major highway expansion project in Telangana. The initiative focuses on widening the Armoor-Jagtial-Mancherial segment of NH-63 using the Hybrid Annuity Model and the Jagtial-Karimnagar segment of NH-563 employing the Build-Operate-Transfer (Toll) method. This 190.76 km long project, costing Rs.7597.16 crore, aims to improve travel efficiency, reduce congestion, and promote regional development in Telangana.
