Cabinet Approves Kanpur-Kabrai Highway on BOT (Toll) Mode
The Indian Cabinet, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, approved the construction of a 117.7-km four-lane access-controlled highway connecting Kanpur and Kabrai. The project, valued at Rs.7145.14 crore and executed by the National Highways Authority of India on BOT (Toll) mode, aims to reduce travel time, enhance road safety, and improve regional connectivity and logistics efficiency. Aligned with the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan, it will boost economic growth by improving connectivity to various industrial, social, and logistics nodes.
