Cabinet Approves Major Rail Projects to Boost Connectivity and Economy

The Union Cabinet has approved four major railway projects worth Rs. 12,328 Crore aimed at enhancing connectivity in Karnataka, Telangana, Bihar, Assam, and Gujarat. These projects include new rail lines and multi-tracking initiatives that will improve transportation for both passengers and goods, promote tourism, and create significant employment opportunities. The projects are expected to reduce logistics costs, lower CO2 emissions, and support sustainable rail operations, contributing to the Prime Minister's vision of a self-reliant India.
