Cabinet Approves MSP Increase for Rabi Crops 2026-27

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved an increase in Minimum Support Prices (MSP) for Rabi crops for the marketing season 2026-27, ensuring better remuneration for farmers. The highest increase is for Safflower at Rs.600 per quintal, followed by Lentil at Rs.300. Other crops like Rapeseed, Mustard, Gram, Barley, and Wheat also see significant increases, promoting crop diversification and aligning with the Union Budget's MSP policy.
