Cabinet Approves Railway Projects Across Six States

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has sanctioned three multi-tracking railway projects to enhance connectivity across Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. With a budget of Rs. 23,437 crore, these initiatives will expand the Indian Railways network by 901 Kms and aim for completion by 2030-31. The projects will bolster transport efficiency, employment, and eco-friendly logistics.
