Cabinet Approves Revised Cost for Jewar International Airport Connectivity
The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has sanctioned a revised total capital cost of Rs.3630.77 crore for constructing the Greenfield Connectivity to Jewar International Airport. This project will extend from the Delhi-Faridabad-Ballabhgarh-Sohna Spur of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, facilitating high-speed connectivity to Jewar International Airport and promoting regional economic growth and logistics efficiency across the National Capital Region. A vital part of this venture is an 11 km elevated highway segment, pivotal for urban development in Faridabad under the 2031 Master Plan.
