The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved the Revised Jharia Master Plan to address fire, land subsidence, and rehabilitation of affected families in the Jharia Coalfield, with a financial outlay of Rs. 5,940.47 crore. The plan emphasizes sustainable livelihood generation, skill development, and infrastructure development at resettlement sites, including financial support for both Legal and Non-Legal Title Holder families.
