Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs Approves Kanpur-Kabrai Highway Project
The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has sanctioned the construction of a 117.7 km access-controlled highway section from Kanpur to Kabrai, Uttar Pradesh, at a capital cost of Rs.7145.14 crore. This four-lane highway, designed for future six-laning, will enhance connectivity within the Bhopal–Kanpur Economic Corridor. It will streamline logistics, improve travel speeds, and foster economic growth between industrial hubs in Uttar Pradesh and mineral-rich regions in Madhya Pradesh.
