Cabinet Sanctions Rs.1,718.56 Crore Support for Cotton Farmers

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved Rs.1,718.56 crore in Minimum Support Price (MSP) funding to the Cotton Corporation of India (CCI) for the 2023-24 cotton season. This initiative aims to provide direct price support to farmers across India, bolster cotton cultivation, and contribute to the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
