This campaign aims to provide adequate quality inputs and is backed by the Fertilizers Control Order (FCO) of 1985, which prohibits the sale of substandard fertilizers. State governments are responsible for monitoring and enforcing these standards, with significant actions taken against offenders, including numerous raids and legal actions from April to July 2025.
