The Ministry of Tourism's Capacity Building for Service Providers Scheme (CBSP) conducts training programs for tourism stakeholders across urban, rural, and tribal areas in India. Since its inception, 5.54 lakh individuals have been trained, with 59,210 placements reported. The initiative aims to enhance employment opportunities and encourage higher education among trainees, particularly targeting women and youth from diverse backgrounds.
