CAQM Extends Timeline for Denial of Fuel to End-of-Life Vehicles in Delhi NCR

The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has extended the enforcement timeline for denying fuel to End-of-Life (EoL) vehicles in Delhi NCR. The new enforcement dates are set for November 1, 2025, in Delhi and five adjoining districts, and April 1, 2026, for the rest of NCR. This decision addresses technological gaps in the Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system and aims to ensure effective implementation across the region. The amendment follows concerns raised by the Government of NCT of Delhi regarding operational challenges and the need for a robust system to identify EoL vehicles.
