CAQM Forms Expert Committee to Tackle Vehicular Emissions in Delhi-NCR
The Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change has initiated a significant step towards combating air pollution in Delhi-NCR by forming an Expert Committee to address vehicular emissions. The Commission for Air Quality Management in NCR and Adjoining Areas (CAQM) has assembled a diverse group of academicians, healthcare professionals, and industry experts to devise a strategic plan for emission reduction. The committee will evaluate existing policies and recommend new regulatory measures to transition towards cleaner vehicular technologies. Recommendations are expected within two months.
