CAQM Implements 9-Point Action Plan in NCR Due to Severe Air Quality

The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has invoked a 9-point action plan under Stage-III of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) in the National Capital Region (NCR) due to a sharp deterioration in air quality, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) reaching 425. The plan includes strict restrictions on construction activities, closure of stone crushers and mining operations, and limitations on vehicle usage to mitigate pollution. Citizens are urged to cooperate and adopt cleaner commuting practices.
