CBDT Launches Consultation on New Income Tax Rules and Forms
The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) is seeking stakeholder input on the proposed Income Tax Rules and Forms for the Income-tax Act, 2025, set to be implemented from April 2026. A utility on the e-filing portal allows stakeholders to submit suggestions focusing on language simplification, litigation reduction, compliance burden reduction, and identification of obsolete rules.
