The Competition Commission of India has approved Lence Pte. Ltd.'s acquisition of 11% to 20% shareholding in AWL Agri Business Limited, increasing its stake from 43.94% to a maximum of 63.94%. AWL Agri Business, formerly Adani Wilmar Limited, operates in the FMCG sector, focusing on edible oils and food products. Lence Pte. Ltd. is a subsidiary of Wilmar International Limited, which has limited direct presence in India.
