CCI Approves Acquisition of SMC Power Generation by Rungta Sons

The Competition Commission of India has approved the acquisition of 100% shareholding in SMC Power Generation Limited by Rungta Sons Private Limited. Rungta Sons is involved in mining and manufacturing of ferro alloys, while SMC Power Generation focuses on producing sponge iron, steel billets, and other related products.
