The Competition Commission of India has approved the acquisition of the Target Business from Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Lanka (SGREL) by Peony Properties Private Limited (PPPL), TPG REGen, Mavco Investments, and Tikri Investments. This acquisition involves the manufacture and assembly of onshore wind turbine generators and related services in India and Sri Lanka. The entities involved are linked to TPG Inc., a global investment firm.
