CCI Approves Omnicom's Acquisition of IPG

The Competition Commission of India has approved Omnicom Group Inc.'s acquisition of The Interpublic Group of Companies, Inc. (IPG). The merger will result in IPG becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Omnicom, which is a major provider of marketing and sales solutions.
