CCI Orders Ludhiana Firms to Stop Anti-Competitive Practices
The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has ordered M/s KKK Mills and M/s Sankeshwar Synthetics Pvt. Ltd, both based in Ludhiana, to halt anti-competitive practices after they were found guilty of collusive bidding in a tender for woollen underpants. This violation of Sections 3(3)(d) and 3(1) of the Competition Act, 2002, was uncovered following a reference by the Directorate General of Ordnance Services. Firm partners and company directors were also held liable under Section 48 of the Act.
