Central Apprenticeship Council Proposes 36% Stipend Increase for Youth

This move aims to reduce dropout rates and attract more candidates. The proposal includes biennial adjustments based on the Consumer Price Index and emphasizes inclusivity, flexibility in training, and alignment with emerging sectors. The meeting also discussed expanding apprenticeship coverage and enhancing the effectiveness of the program.
