Central Government Provides Relief to Disaster-Affected Farmers in Jammu & Kashmir

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced the release of ₹171 crore to 8.55 lakh farmers in Jammu & Kashmir as part of the PM-KISAN scheme, aimed at supporting those affected by floods and landslides. The total assistance under PM-KISAN has reached ₹4,052 crore. Additional measures include ₹85 crore for the reconstruction of damaged houses and an increase in MGNREGA workdays from 100 to 150 for affected families.
