Central Government Responds to Natural Calamities in Northern India

Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the Central Government is supporting states affected by natural disasters. The Ministry of Home Affairs has formed Inter-Ministerial Central Teams (IMCTs) to assess damage in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, and Jammu & Kashmir due to heavy rainfall and landslides.
