Centre Allocates ₹15.20 Crores to Mizoram's Rural Local Bodies
The Indian government has disbursed the first instalment of ₹15.20 crores for the fiscal year 2025-26 under the XV Finance Commission, designated for Rural Local Bodies in Mizoram. The funds are targeted at Village Councils, inclusive of those in Autonomous District Councils. These grants, split into untied and tied categories, will support various local needs including sanitation and water supply.
