This funding, earmarked for FY 2025–26, represents previously withheld installments of Untied Grants for 2024–25, beneficial for the Autonomous District Councils in Bodoland, Karbi Anglong, and Dima Hasao. These grants, recommended by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj and Ministry of Jal Shakti, are released by the Ministry of Finance to address specific locality needs and support essential services like sanitation and water supply.
