Centre's Initiative to Connect MSMEs with Global Market
The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises has launched the 'One District, One Product' (ODOP) initiative to promote regional development by selecting and branding one product from each district. This initiative aims to attract investment, boost manufacturing and exports, and create employment. It is merged with the 'Districts as Export Hubs' initiative to enhance export potential at the grassroots level. The government also facilitates MSME participation in international trade fairs and provides training in digital marketing and e-commerce, along with financial incentives for enterprise creation and capacity building.
