CGST Delhi South Commissionerate Arrests Two for ITC Fraud

The Central Goods & Services Tax (CGST) Delhi South Commissionerate has arrested two individuals for fraudulently claiming Input Tax Credit (ITC) of approximately ₹8.52 crore using fake invoices totaling ₹199.90 crore. The investigation found that the suspects operated from nonexistent premises and admitted to falsifying ITC claims. They have been remanded to judicial custody, and further investigations are ongoing to trace fund flows and uncover additional beneficiaries.
