Chairman of Rajya Sabha C. P. Radhakrishnan Addresses Prime Minister's Statement

Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, Hon'ble Chairman of Rajya Sabha, emphasized the importance of maintaining decorum during the Prime Minister of India's address on a matter of urgent international diplomatic relations. As per Rule 251 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Council of States, Ministers can make statements on pressing issues without being questioned by Members at the time of the statement. The Chairman called upon Members to acknowledge the critical nature of the topic and uphold decorum in the House.
