CIL Invests ₹10 Cr to Enhance EMRS in Chhattisgarh
The Ministry of Tribal Affairs and Coal India Ltd have signed a landmark MoU to improve education for tribal students in Chhattisgarh. CIL will invest ₹10 crores to support 68 Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS), benefiting over 28,000 students. The initiative includes promoting digital education, improving health hygiene for girl students, providing mentorship, and organizing entrepreneurial boot camps. This collaboration aims to bridge educational gaps and create equitable opportunities for tribal youth under the NEP 2020 framework.
