Climate-Resilient Employment Planning by MSDE

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) under India's Skill India Mission (SIM) is providing skill training to youth, particularly in agriculture, to address challenges posed by climate change. As of June 2025, over 1 million candidates have been trained in various climate-resilient job roles. The Skill Council for Green Jobs has developed qualifications in green skills, training approximately 663,000 candidates under various government schemes.
