Commemorating 1971 War Victory at Air Force Station Mohanbari
The Indian Air Force celebrated the victory in the 1971 war at the Air Force Station Mohanbari in Assam. The event was attended by prominent figures including the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, military and civilian dignitaries, veterans, and youth from Assam. Highlights included a flying display by various aircrafts showcasing the missions of the 1971 war and remembering the bravery of the armed forces. A seminar on air operations during the war and an exhibition featuring rare photographs and a replica of the 'Swarnim Vijay Mashal' were also part of the celebrations.
