The Indian Coast Guard Ship (ICGS) 'Adamya', the first of eight Adamya-class Fast Patrol Vessels, was commissioned at Paradip Port, Odisha on September 19, 2025. Built by Goa Shipyard Limited, the 51-meter vessel showcases over 60% indigenous content, reinforcing India's maritime capabilities. Commissioned by Joint Secretary Shri Satyajit Mohanty, ICGS Adamya will operate under the ICG Region (North East) and is equipped with advanced technology and weaponry for maritime surveillance and security.
