Commissioning of Kavach 4.0 on Delhi-Mumbai Route

The Indian Railways has successfully commissioned the indigenous Kavach 4.0 safety system on the Mathura-Kota section of the Delhi-Mumbai route, marking a significant advancement in railway safety. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw highlighted the achievement, noting that Kavach 4.0 enhances speed control for loco pilots and provides signal information within the cab, even in foggy conditions. The system, developed under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative, is set to be deployed nationwide within six years, reflecting India's commitment to modernizing railway safety systems.
