Communication Minister Outlines Measures Against Spam Calls and SMS
In response to rising complaints of spam calls and SMS, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) and the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) have increased efforts to control unsolicited commercial communications. Measures include the use of Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), AI solutions, and strict compliance with the Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations (TCCCPR).
