Compensation for Border Area Damage Announced by Modi Government

Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcement of additional compensation for houses damaged by Pakistani shelling in Jammu and Kashmir, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has facilitated ₹25 crore for 2,060 houses. Each fully damaged house will receive ₹2 lakh, while partially damaged houses will get ₹1 lakh. Similar compensation will also be extended to Punjab's border areas. The government has taken proactive measures to assist affected families, including evacuations and medical support.
