Constitution of India Now Available in Santhali Language
The President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, officially released the Constitution of India translated into the Santhali language, marking a significant milestone in the efforts to make legal documents accessible to the Santhali-speaking community. The Constitution has been translated using the Ol Chiki script, coinciding with the centenary celebration of the script itself. The release event, held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, included notable figures such as the Vice President and the Union Minister of State for Law and Justice.
