Consumer Price Index for Agricultural and Rural Labourers - August 2025

The Labour Bureau of the Ministry of Labour & Employment has released the Consumer Price Index (CPI) numbers for Agricultural and Rural Labourers for August 2025. The CPI for Agricultural Labourers increased by 1.03 points to 136.34, while the Rural Labourers' index rose by 0.94 points to 136.60. Year-on-year inflation rates for Agricultural and Rural Labourers were recorded at 1.07% and 1.26%, respectively, with food inflation showing a slight decrease.
