CSIR Enhances Global Partnerships with "Capabilities Discovery Session"
The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) organized a strategic "Capabilities Discovery Session" with Ambassadors and High Commissioners from the Global South at the India International Centre in New Delhi. This initiative, spearheaded by Dr Rama Swami Bansal and Dr N. Kalaiselvi, aimed to fortify South–South cooperation via science, technology, and innovation. Representatives from nations in Oceania, the Gulf, West Asia and North Africa, Central America, and the Caribbean participated in the event. The session advocated for technology transfer, joint innovation, and scalable solutions to address global challenges such as sustainable development, climate action, and health equity, reaffirming CSIR's role as a vital STI partner.
