Cyber Crime Prevention Scheme for Women and Children

The Ministry of Home Affairs has launched the Cyber Crime Prevention against Women and Children (CCPWC) Scheme, providing Rs. 132.93 crores to States/UTs for capacity building in cyber crime prevention. This includes establishing cyber forensic laboratories and training law enforcement personnel. Cyber forensic labs have been set up in 33 States/UTs, with partial functionality in Tamil Nadu and none in Lakshadweep and Ladakh. The initiative aims to enhance the response to cyber crimes against women and children.
