DAHD Hosts Workshop to Enhance One Health Preparedness Post-Mock Drills
The Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying (DAHD) held a one-day workshop titled 'Addressing Gaps Identified during Mock Drills' on March 20, 2026, at the NASC Complex in New Delhi. The event aimed to address gaps found during national-level mock drills conducted under the National One Health Mission, which is focused on enhancing India’s preparedness against zoonotic diseases. Chief Guest Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood emphasized the importance of a unified framework that integrates diverse sectors for pandemic readiness. The workshop concluded with commitments from stakeholders to improve inter-sectoral coordination and fortify response strategies under the One Health framework.
