DDWS and BISAG-N Collaborate for Enhanced Rural Water and Sanitation Monitoring

The Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation (DDWS) has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with BISAG-N to develop a GIS-integrated decision-support platform for the Jal Jeevan Mission and Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen). This partnership aims to enhance data-driven decision-making and monitoring of rural water supply and sanitation initiatives, leveraging geospatial technologies for improved transparency and efficiency. The platform will support the mapping of Rural Piped Water Supply Schemes and align with the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan, contributing to the Government of India's Digital India vision.
