Delhi Achieves Best Air Quality Index from 2018 to 2025

Delhi has recorded its best average Air Quality Index (AQI) from January to September 2025, with an average AQI of 164, marking an improvement from previous years. Notably, there were no days with an AQI exceeding 400, and the city experienced the highest number of 'Satisfactory' days, totaling 75. The monsoon season also saw the best AQI levels in eight years, with an average of 91. The period recorded the lowest PM2.5 and PM10 concentrations since 2018, indicating significant progress in air quality management efforts.
