Delhi's AQI Improvement Prompts Revocation of GRAP Stage-III Restrictions

Following a steady decline in Delhi's air quality index (AQI) from 391 to 327 over four days, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has decided to revoke Stage-III restrictions of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) across the National Capital Region (NCR). This decision mitigates disruptions faced by the public and stakeholders. Despite the revocation, stringent measures from Stages I and II remain active to prevent AQI from worsening, especially during the unfavourable winter season. Construction sites with previous violations will not resume operations until further notice. Continuous monitoring and reassessments of the air quality will guide future actions.
