Department of Posts and SIDBI Sign MoU for Verifying Informal Micro Enterprises

The Department of Posts under the Ministry of Communications, Government of India, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) to conduct Contact Point Verification of informal micro enterprises registered on the Udyam Assist Platform. This collaboration aims to facilitate data validation and access to institutional credit for these enterprises. The initiative leverages the extensive postal network of India Post and a specially designed mobile application by SIDBI for real-time data capture and reporting.
