Development Initiatives Boost North-Eastern Regions

The Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER) has sanctioned 44 projects under the PM-DevINE scheme, amounting to Rs. 5728.79 crore, to bolster infrastructure and economic development in various sectors like health, roads, and the startup ecosystem. Initiatives such as the Rising Northeast Investors Summit 2025 and Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS-UDAN) aim to improve investment, tourism, and connectivity across North Eastern states. This development is expected to create significant employment opportunities, enhance regional connectivity with 90 operational routes, and further economic activities in the sector through targeted infrastructure projects.
