Development of Andhra Pradesh Buddhist Heritage Sites
The Ministry of Tourism in India, under its various schemes including Swadesh Darshan, SD2.0, CBDD, PRASHAD, and SASCI, supports the development of tourism infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh focusing on Buddhist heritage and coastal destinations. Financial assistance is provided to State Governments and Union Territory Administrations following proposal submissions. Recent projects include the development of the Buddhist Circuit and various coastal circuits in the state.
