Development of Highways in Aspirational Districts and Border Areas
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways reports significant progress in the development of national highways connecting aspirational districts and border areas over the past five years, with detailed updates on project lengths, expenditures, and connectivity improvements. A total of 3,318 km of highway projects have been awarded, with 1,301 km constructed in border areas, as part of a larger initiative to enhance infrastructure across 25,917 km of national highways currently under construction across the country.
