DFS Enhances Banking Recruitment Efficiency and Transparency

The Department of Financial Services (DFS) under the Ministry of Finance has revised the recruitment process for the banking sector. This new framework aims to streamline the recruitment cycle for the State Bank of India (SBI), Nationalised Banks (NBs), and Regional Rural Banks (RRBs), improving transparency in the examination process managed by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). The initiative will address the recurrent issue of candidate migration by sequencing result announcements, enhancing decision making and reducing attrition. The IBPS will also introduce login-based access for candidates to view their exam responses and correct answers, furthering transparency.
