DFS Launches Nationwide Financial Inclusion Campaign
The Department of Financial Services has initiated a three-month campaign from July 1 to September 30, 2025, aimed at saturating Financial Inclusion schemes at the Gram Panchayat and Urban Local Body levels across India. Key activities include opening bank accounts for unbanked adults, increasing enrollments in various insurance and pension schemes, and conducting awareness sessions on digital fraud prevention. The campaign is set to cover all 2.70 lakh GPs and ULBs, with significant participation from public representatives and officials.
